The mission of JLF is to make a difference in the lives of indigent diabetics with limited resources and no health insurance.

The health care system is broken: young people are the most uninsured population in the country. JLF was created to help diabetics who have fallen through the cracks. Individuals who are attending or recently graduated college and are no longer covered under their parents health insurance policy and who are not eligible for subsidised assistance. JLF will aid any diabetic going through a transitional period to obtain the necessary medicines, testing supplies, and equipment needed to maintain a healthy diabetic lifestyle. With committed volunteers, national support and standards of excellence JLF is looking to become a leader in diabetic advocacy.
