KENNETH R. PRITZ
Executive Director & Secretary
Kenneth R. Pritz, Executive Director, is founder of The Julie Love Assistance Program For Diabetics, Inc. Mr. Pritz envisions making a positive difference in the lives of indigent adult diabetics with limited resources, enabling them to become confident, competent and enlightened individuals leading healthy diabetic lifestyles. A Vietnam Era Veteran and graduate of Lawrence Technological University, Mr. Pritz held an engineering/technical position with Ford Motor Company at their Engineering & Research Center in Dearborn, retiring after 28 years of service in 1999. Mr. Pritz began his new endeavor February 2, 2006 seeing the need to fill a hugh void concerning the health of adult persons with Diabetes.

 

MIMI G. PRITZ
Director & Treasurer
Mimi G. Pritz, Director, was born in Namur, Belgium in 1946 and emigrated with her family to America three years later. She has been working in the legal profession since 1963 and became a Freelance Paralegal in 1994. Her experience includes working for various attorneys and court reporting through the years. Mimi graduated Mumford High School in 1964, Detroit Business Institute with honors in 1965, received her Associate Degree and Legal Assistant Certificate with honors - Cum Laude from Oakland Community College in 1994. Mimi Pritz joined Kenneth's endeavor in 2006 also seeing the need to address the health issues of adult persons with Diabetes.

 

ERWIN M. WALDMAN, EA
Director & Accountant
Erwin Waldman, EA, Director, is an Accountant and an Enrolled Agent for the IRS and has been practicing in the Detroit Metropolitan Area for the last 40 years. Mr. Waldman maintains an active accounting and tax practice. Erwin is a graduate of the Detroit Institute of Technology having received his Bachelors Degree in accounting from DIT. Mr. Waldman is the accountant for The Julie Love Assistance Program for Diabetics, Inc. since February 2006 and is very glad to be participating as a director in an organization whose main mission is helping adult persons with Diabetes.

 

DR. SEYMOURE M. BALAJ, DPM
Director
Dr. Seymoure M. Balaj, DPM, Director, practices podiatric medicine here in the Detroit area. He was born in 1956 and is married with two children. Dr. Balaj and his wife Lois, also maintained various group homes for disabled persons. Seymoure graduated in 1979 from Wayne State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Psychology. He attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 1983 and performed his Preceptorship with Dr. Jack Kaufman in 1984. He has been a Podiatrist since then. Dr. Balaj is an extremely caring person who is happy to be one of the directors of the Julie Love Diabetics Assistance Program.

 

MARRIN E. TOGAL
Director
Marrin E. Togal, Director, is a native of Detroit, Michigan and currently resides in Manhattan, New York. She is a 2003 graduate of Michigan State University holding a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Professional Accounting with a concentration in taxation from the Eli Broad School of Business. Marrin formally held positions in Detroit, Michigan for the tax departments of both the Private Client Advisors Group at Deloitte & Touche, LLP and at DTE Energy Company. She is excited to be helping adult diabetics by being on the board of directors for the Julie Love Diabetic Assistance Program.

 

DR. EDWIN R. ITENBERG, DO
Director
Dr. Edwin R. Itenberg, DO, Director, is currently a surgical resident at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City. He was born and raised in New York and is engaged to be married next year.  Edwin graduated in 2002 from Penn State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Kinesiology. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2006. Dr. Itenberg is a passionate and patient person who believes his position on the board of directors of the Julie Love Diabetics Assistance Program is a wonderful opportunity to help with the health issues of indigent adult persons with diabetes.
